2 John Part 2: The New World

Picture
Yesterday,
my husband and I were at Dollar Tree,
which by the way,
every item is now $1.25.
Welcome to inflation and the New World.

When we were cashing out
the lady tripped over her words,
looked at us and said,
“I’m sorry. I’m not sure if I should say
Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays.
I don’t want to offend.”

My husband and I were stunned.

The lady behind her said,
“Are you serious? We live in America!
Merry Christmas - it is what it is!”

My husband and I laughed.

As we walked to the car, sadness set in.
We began talking about
what just happened and said,
“Can you imagine
caring more about pleasing man
than you do about standing boldly for God?”

This is what the new world has become.

Self-pronouncing “Christians”
who have been raised progressive -
religious people who go to church,
and live a life based on good works,
but do not know God.

Self-proclaiming “Christians”
who believe the womb is not what God made -
to bring forth His creation,
including His Word.
"Christians" who believe the womb is to be used
as a woman may choose.

Oh Lord,
forgive me for what I did not know to be true!
Oh Lord,
forgive those who return to you!

Or even worse, to be a person
who says they are "Christian"
but has never opened God’s Word.

Progressive Christianity
is simply the epitome of sin -
being so lukewarm to believe
that Jesus Christ is a bad word!

Can you imagine being so delusional
that you believe God made a mistake
when he made the sexes -
a man and a woman.

America -
Welcome to the new world!
Welcome back to Babylon!
Where humans are the center
of all that is planned.

America is ridden
with "progressive Christians" -
those who do not stand
on the foundation of God.
Those who twist the very Word of God!

This is what the elders warned
throughout the whole New Testament,
and this is what I have been warning about
since Jesus rescued me from the swamp,
pulled me up onto the boardwalk,
walked me to the tent,
let me see the light
and gave me a new name!

I know it sounds absolutely ridiculous -
but those who know God will see it is the truth!

Jesus is the right hand of God.
He reaches down and saves us from our sin.
But that is not it!
He gives us a new name, and He gives us new gifts.
He gives us a job to reconcile men.

In pursuit of saving souls
through the gift of the written word,
I have witnessed God's warning
over and over again.
I see it in everything verse I read
and every poem I write;
I saw it in Luke, Matthew, Jude
and now I see it in John.

John the elder said,
“For many deceivers
have gone out into the world
who do not confess Jesus Christ
as coming in the flesh.
This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Look to yourselves, that we do not lose
those things we worked for,
but that we may receive a full reward.
Whoever transgresses and does not abide
in the doctrine of Christ does not have God.
He who abides in the doctrine of Christ
has both the Father and the Son.
If anyone comes to you
and does not bring this doctrine,
do not receive him into your house nor greet him;
for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.”

‭‭II John‬ ‭1:7-11‬

America - listen up!
We are called to guard our hearts!
Jesus says this to the Lukewarm Church-
“I know your works,
that you are neither cold nor hot.
I could wish you were cold or hot.
So then, because you are lukewarm,
and neither cold nor hot,
I will vomit you out of My mouth.
Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy,
and have need of nothing’ -
and do not know that you are wretched,
miserable, poor, blind, and naked -

I counsel you to buy from Me gold
refined in the fire, that you may be rich;

and white garments, that you may be clothed,
that the shame of your nakedness
may not be revealed;
and anoint your eyes with eye salve,
that you may see.
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten.
Therefore be zealous and repent.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears My voice and opens the door,
I will come in to him and dine with him,
and he with Me.
To him who overcomes
I will grant to sit with Me on My throne,
as I also overcame
and sat down with My Father on His throne.
“He who has an ear,
let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:14-22‬

America - it is only going to get worse.
The foundation of our Christian nation
is falling apart.
Jesus has truly become the stumbling block.
This is not new.
America is finally joining Satan,
the true ruler of the new world.

Babylon is in the process of being rebuilt.
There is no stopping it.

But know this - God is sovereign
and it has all been written in His Holy plan!
Pick up your Bible and read all about it.

People everywhere; People of ALL nations -
You will have to choose!

You will have to choose who you will serve!
Will you choose Satan or will you choose God?

Just remember this -
attached to your choice
is an eternal blessing or an eternal curse.

The warning has been given.
I have said what is true.

2 John Part 1: TRUTH in LOVE, an Elder of God

12/22/2021

Picture
The words TRUTH and LOVE
are found over and over again
in the first six verses of 2 John.

John wrote,
“The Elder (a spirituality mature John)
To the elect lady
(a chosen woman of God)
and her children (her chosen children)
whom I LOVE in TRUTH,
(In the recognition that Jesus is Lord)
and not only I,
but also all those who have
known the TRUTH
(the Son of God)
because of the TRUTH
which abides in us
(the Holy Spirit)
and will be with us forever:
Grace, mercy, and peace
will be with you from God the Father
and from the Lord Jesus Christ,
the Son of the Father, in TRUTH and LOVE

(eternally attached to Him).
I rejoiced greatly
that I have found some of your children
walking in TRUTH

(Some of her children truly know God)
as we received
commandment from the Father.
And now I plead with you, lady,
not as though I wrote
a new commandment to you,
but that which we have had from the beginning:
that we LOVE one another.
This is LOVE -
that we walk according to His commandments.
This is the commandment,
that as you have heard from the beginning,
you should walk in it.”

‭‭II John‬ ‭1:1-6‬

Those who know Christ
keep God’s commandments
close to their hearts.
And all of God’s commandments
rest on these two laws,
“You shall love the Lord your God
with all your heart, with all your soul,
and with all your mind.’
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like it:
‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
On these two commandments
hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22:36-40
‬
Brethren, do not be deceived by the world,
and their wicked precepts and deeds.
There is no such thing as universal love,
for those who don’t know Christ
can not truly love.
They do not even know what love is.

This is the truth, and I share it in love -
there is a universal Church
comprised of all people who believe that Jesus is Lord.
They believe Jesus is the Son of God,
who died on the cross as our final sacrifice
to bear the guilt and pay the penalty
of the sin of the world.
The universal Church
believes that Jesus conquered death
at His resurrection.

According to the second chapter
of the Acts of the Apostles,
the universal Church came into existence
on the Day of Pentecost
and will be taken from the earth
when the dead in Christ are resurrected.

“Do not want be ignorant, brethren,
concerning those who have fallen asleep,
lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so God will bring with Him
those who sleep in Jesus.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord,
that we who are alive and remain until
the coming of the Lord
will by no means precede those who are asleep.
For the Lord Himself
will descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of an archangel,
and with the trumpet of God.
And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain
shall be caught up together
with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

‭‭I Thessalonians‬ 4:13-18

Just like John,
a person who is mature in the Word,
I leave you this message in TRUTH and in LOVE.

Also, let me just say,
do not be deceived by the world.
An elder is a person chosen by God,
not by a person based on the precepts of man.

An elder is someone who is mature in the Word,
not someone who continually eats baby food.

Be careful by what appears as “good” -
not all works come from our Father God.

To the members of the Church,
I exhort you to pay attention
to those who speak and live
according to the TRUTH in LOVE -
who is a true son of God,
by living and breathing according to God’s Word.

This, my friend, is an elder of God.

“For you are all sons of God
through faith in Christ Jesus.
For as many of you
as were baptized into Christ
have put on Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Greek,
there is neither slave nor free,
there is neither male nor female;
for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
And if you are Christ’s,
then you are Abraham’s seed,
and heirs according to the promise.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:26-29‬

Believe it or not, according to scripture,
a woman can be an elder, not just a man!

God's Word is the TRUTH in LOVE -
the foundation that I stand on!

1 John Part 8: Five Verses

12/21/2021

Picture
This morning in reading 1 John Chapter 5,
five verses popped out at me.

For this poem,

I am going to list them down
and then make my comments to process them.

The Lord says

“whatever you ask according to My will,
will be given freely to you.”

So this morning I am asking the Lord
to open my heart and my mind
to the truth of His Word;
and
I pray that His truth that is revealed,
will be given to every person
who is reading this poem.

So here goes.

“For whatever is born of God

overcomes the world.
And this is the victory
that has overcome the world -
our faith in Jesus Christ.”

‭‭I John‬ ‭5:4

What comes to mind is Hebrews 11:1-3,‬

“Now faith is the evidence of things not seen.
For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
By faith we understand
that the worlds were framed
by the word of God,
so that the things which are seen
were not made of things which are visible.”

I invite you take a tour of Hebrews 11,
the Hall of Faith Is quite fascinating.

Now let me continue on
to the next verse that struck me.

“For there are three

that bear witness in heaven:
the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit;
and these three are one.
And there are three
that bear witness on earth:
the Spirit, the water, and the blood;
and these three agree as one.”

‭‭I John‬ ‭5:7-8‬

Bearing witness is an act
of giving evidence to confirm
the events that happened
and the things that were said.

In the Kingdom of Heaven,
where the angels live, it’s the Holy Trinity -
The Holy Spirit, Father and Son;
in the World, where we humans live,
it’s the Spirit, water and the blood.

What comes to mind is Romans
‬ ‭3:23-26,‬
“for all have sinned

and fall short of the glory of God,
being justified freely by His grace
through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
whom God set forth
as an atonement by His blood,
through faith,
to demonstrate His righteousness,
because in His patient endurance
God had passed over the sins
that were previously committed,
to demonstrate at the present time
His righteousness, that He might be just
and the justifier of the one
who has faith in Jesus.”

God alone is good,
and it’s only through our keeping of HIS Word
(Jesus Christ)

that we can be grafted INTO God -
our Creator who knows no sin.

Which leads me into the next verse -

“And this is the testimony:

that God has given us eternal life,
and this life is in His Son.
He who has the Son has life;
he who does not have the Son of God
does not have life.”

‭‭I John‬ ‭5:11-12‬

It truly is that simple.
Jesus alone is the bridge
who brings man back into relationship with our God.

You see, all mankind will die.

Every person who has breath
will experience temporary death,

but only the Children of God
will go on to live eternally with Him.

You see, Jesus is the Seed

that was promised to us in Genesis 3:15.
And it’s from this Seed that the new man will grow.
Through Him, we take off the old and put on the new.

Now this next verse
is the one
that really stumped me.

Listen to this.

“If anyone sees his brother
sinning a sin
which does not lead to death,
he will ask,
and He will give him life
for those who commit sin
not leading to death.
There is sin leading to death.
I do not say that he should pray about that.
All unrighteousness is sin,
and there is sin not leading to death.”

‭‭I John‬ ‭5:16-17‬

I have to say, I read that verse
over and over again.
At first it did not make sense.
I wondered to myself,
"Did John say
that some sin does not lead to death?"
"Did John get it wrong?"

Then the Holy Spirit touched my heart,
and His Word was illuminated to me.

I heard God say, “Yes I Am He
who blots out your transgressions
for My own sake
and remembers your sins no more.”

Isaiah 43:25

You see,
God expresses unfailing love and faithfulness.
Everything He does goes back to His character.
When we are covered by the blood of Christ,
God's Holy Spirit comes to live inside of us.
And since God has no sin,
the sin of the world is not in us.

And that brings me to verse number 5 -
“We know that whoever is born of God
does not sin;
but he who has been born of God
keeps himself,
and the wicked one does not touch him.”

‭‭I John‬ ‭5:18‬

Does this mean that God's people
do no wrong?

No! Not at all!

It just means

that God's children understand
the true testimony of Jesus Christ.

We understand that we have been
thoroughly saved
through the Spirit,
water and the blood,
and that we have been made
righteous through Jesus Christ.

And because we love God -
Father, Son and Holy Spirit

we guard our hearts,
and keep our eyes focused on Christ,
the author and finisher of our faith.

Because we love God,
we prophecy
and keep His commandments.
We offer our lives as a living sacrifice
by dying to self and picking up our cross.
We serve God with all our hearts,
and we work diligently as
His watchmen.

I pray this poem will be a blessing to someone else.
I pray these words will touch their hearts.

1 John Part 7: The New Man

Picture
Dear friends,
What is love?

If you had asked me this question
ten years ago,
I would have told you
that love is a feeling
that describes something or someone
you are extremely fond of.

I would have said that love is an affection
that has no boundaries -
a reciprocated kindness that is unconditional.

I would have told you
that love is non-judgmental,
and that every truth should be accepted
as the original.

I would have also said
that love is the truest expression
of our good hearts -
a desire or passion that motivates us.

But now I know
that love is a choice -
a choice to believe God over my deceived heart;
a choice to believe that Jesus was conceived
by a virgin woman and God’s Holy Spirit -
a sinner purified
by God’s unfailing love and faithfulness
in her womb.

Jesus was, is and will always be
the only child born into the world,
who did not have a human father
or an angel seed.

He truly came as the Seed of God.

God is faithful and good to His Word -
He put enmity between Satan
and the wife that He loves;
between his seed and hers.

God is faithful and patiently endures,
as he waits for His children to grow.

He is eagerly waiting for his ekklesia
to become the new man that He foretold.

The Seed of Christ
continues to push through
as the hearts of humans willingly choose
to follow Jesus,
by picking up their cross and dying to self.

The Seed of Christ continues to grow
into the Light.

The new man is so beautiful!
I have never seen such maturity!

“The unity of the faith and of the knowledge
of the Son of God,
is becoming the perfect man;
to the measure of the stature
of the fullness of Christ.”

Ephesians 4:13

This is how true love continues to grow.

Friends,
"We should no longer be children,
tossed to and fro and carried about
with every wind of doctrine,
by the trickery of men,
in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
but, speaking the truth in love,
may grow up in all things
into Him who is the head -
Christ - from whom the whole body,
joined and knit together
by what every joint supplies,
according to the effective working
by which every part does its share,
causes growth of the body
for the edifying of itself in love.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:14-16‬

“For as the body is one
and has many members,
but all the members of that one body,
being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
For by one Spirit
we were all baptized into one body -
whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free -
and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
For in fact the body is not one member but many.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12:12-14‬

God is so good!

Love is actually
the doctrine of separation
from this fallen world;
Love is God growing in the New Man.

God’s children are light,
and they have been separated
from the darkness
through the blood of Christ,
and the conviction and sanctification
of His Holy Spirit.

God is faithful.
He is good to His Word.
The New Man growing from God's Seed
is in the process of stomping on Satan’s head,
and withstanding the antichrist spirit
as he bruises God's heel.

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3:15

“He who practices righteousness is righteous,
just as He is righteous.
He who sins is of the devil,
for the devil has sinned from the beginning.
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,
that He might destroy the works of the devil.
Whoever has been born of God does not sin,
for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin,
because he has been born of God.”

‭‭I John‬ ‭3:7-9
‬
Does this mean man is without sin?
Of course not!
Man is fallen and lives in a sinful world.

But God is pure love, and In Him, there is no sin!
His blood covers us from all this wrong.

Without Christ, we are truly void.
We are walking darkness who has no light.

There is nothing good in us at all -
except Christ - the Seed of God.

So what do we do?

We repent and turn from our evil ways.
We keep our eyes focused on Christ,
the author and perfecter of faith
and we reflect Him.

God forgives.
He blots out our sin
as far as the East to the West;
and because he forgives us, we must forgive men.

Now does that mean
we should continue to walk in sin?
Of course not!
Those who choose to sin
do not have Christ living within them at all.
And yet, the Holy Spirit was sent to convict us;
to teach us and to guide us into God’s righteousness.
This is the sanctification process of making us holy.
This is the growing season
that every Christian goes through.

My friends,
“God is love,
and all who live in love live in God,
and God lives in them.
And as we live in God,
our love grows more perfect.
So we will not be afraid
on the day of judgment,
but we can face him with confidence
because we live like Jesus here in this world.
Such love has no fear,
because perfect love expels all fear.
If we are afraid,
it is for fear of punishment,
and this shows
that we have not fully experienced
his perfect love.”

1 John 4

Brothers and sisters -
let us continue to love one another,
for love comes from God.
God showed how much he loved us
by sending his one and only Son
into the world so that we might have
eternal life through him.
This is real love - not that we loved God,
but that he loved us
and sent his Son as a sacrifice
to take away our sins.

What is love?

Love is God.
Love is God choosing to send His Seed
into His creation
to create a New Man;
a New Man who will live with Him
in the New Jerusalem.

1 John Part 6:  Sleeper, It is Time to Wake Up!

12/19/2021

Picture
Dear friends,
Did you know that Catholicism
is the largest religious branch of Christianity,
and while its main belief is that
the Bible is the inspired, error-free,
revealed word of God,
many Catholics believe that the Pope
and his priests stand between them and God.
Many Catholics also believe
that they should pray to angels,
and many believe Mary,
the mother of Jesus, was without sin.
I'm sorry to tell you that these beliefs
are actually false, and they are all
in opposition to what the Word of God
actually says.

If you don’t believe me, then I encourage you
to read the Bible for yourself.
We in America still have a chance -
The Bible has not YET been taken away from us!

There is something about tradition
and ritualistic behavior
that humans seem to love.
There is something about
feeling holy and separated
that inspires humans to return
over and over again.

Repentance and sanctification
is, in fact, the right response,
we just need to be sure we are actually
serving God and what His Word says,
and not mere mortal men.

Dear friends,
Have you heard about
the Word of Faith movement
and their belief that grave soaking
is a new trend.
They believe it is possible to mantle grab -
by laying across physical graves of the dead,
for the purpose of “pulling out” the power
of the Holy Spirit,
a power that was “trapped”
within the body
upon the Spirit-filled person’s death.

That too is totally false,
and in opposition to what the Bible says!
Once again, we see another spirit
of the antichrist rearing its ugly head!

And what about
“the name it and claim it” evangelists
who declare you can become rich
by demanding your blessing
in the name of Jesus Christ.
I wonder…
does God oppose the proud, or the poor?
That’s sarcasm - if you could not already tell.

And what about
all the “teachers and prophets”
that we see on TV and social media
who get louder and louder
as they proclaim they are a prophet of God -
and then ask you for money
to support their ministry.

It’s absurd!
I have to control the anger rising up in me!
Where in the hell are all these antichrist spirits
coming from?
Well, the Bible tells us they are strong in the world.

A prophet of God
does not speak for money!
The words that true prophets speak
are typically pretty hard!
They do it because God has told them -
that they are accountable as His watchmen!
There is no money involved!

That is the farthest thing
from a true prophets mind!
The speak because God has told them to,
and if they don’t they are held responsible
for their sin!

The words of a true prophet
are all about Jesus
and telling people to turn from their sin.
Every word spoken goes back to original King!

They speak because
it has been demanded by God -
when deep inside they may actually want to run!
It is seldom fun!
Most people get angry
because true prophets
are not saying what they want!

Brothers and sisters in Christ,
I am warning you - Be on guard!
Do not believe everyone
who claims to speak by the Holy Spirit.
You must test them to see
if the spirit they have comes from God.
There are many false prophets
who are driven by the spirit of Deceit -
and while this antichrist spirit
is in direct opposition to God’s Word,
it usually succeeds by moving
God’s plumb line just one degree.

You must pay closer attention
to what God’s Word actually says!

You can not believe a person
just because they say or appear
to be a man or woman of God.

I say again - Be on guard.

If someone claims to be a prophet
and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus,
that person has the Antichrist spirit,
which you heard is coming into the world
and indeed is already here.

That is why we see so much opposition.
The Spirit of God and the antichrist spirits
are in total contradiction -
one is truth and the other is deception.

Deception is the process of imitating the truth;
it’s the act of getting someone
to believe what is false.

No one wants to believe they have been duped;
everyone wants to believe in their own truth.

But we must get real with ourselves-
because spending an eternity in hell,
completely separated from God, is the end result
if our heart has not been opened to receive Christ.
He is the truth, the way and the life.

It’s quite easy to know
which Spirit is talking to you!

If the person has the Spirit of God
then they will acknowledge and prophesy
that Jesus alone is the Christ!

They will believe
that Jesus is the Son of God
who came in a real body
to save the world from fallen sin.
They will believe
Jesus is the final sacrifice,
and they will believe
that the blood of Christ alone
is what redeems us and reconciles us
back to God.

They will not believe that a pope or a priest
stands between them and God;
they will know that Jesus alone is the bridge.

They will understand
that the Holy Spirit is not contained,
but has been in existence since the beginning of time.

They will believe that Jesus
is the fulfillment of God’s Law,
and they will believe what the prophets foretold
about the coming of the great and terrible day
of the Lord.

Brothers and sisters -
If you belong to God
then you are His child.
Rest assure that the war for your soul
has already been won.
You can know without a doubt
that you will live with God
in the New Jerusalem,
and Jesus is the King of that Kingdom!

The Holy Spirit
who lives in God’s children
is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.

The Antichrist spirit will die
as soon as God makes the command.
The antichrist spirit has only one purpose -
to divide sinful men
from those who belong to God.

You must know -
The people who belong to this world,
speak from the world’s viewpoint,
and the world listens to them.
They are the ones who do not acknowledge
Jesus as their Lord.

Pray for them.
For they literally are "a stray."
They are doomed for destruction
if they do not turn from their evil ways.

But those who belong to God,
listen to these poems.
They hear the praise
that comes through the prose.
And they hum along
to the hymns and the songs.

The deceived walk to a different kind of beat.
They walk in blindness,
following the spirit of deceit
and entertain the desires of their own hearts -
for the human heart
is the most deceitful of all;
and when the deceived are called by God -
“Sleeper - It is time to wake up!”
they ignore His command
and keep blindly marching on.

My heart breaks -
to see so many people living in deception;
so many people think know the truth -
but they do not.

This is how I know
who is my brother and sister in Christ-
They repent for being so blind and so wrong.
They give all the credit back to God,
and they can not remove
Jesus from their tongue!

You can see the Holy Spirit
shining intensely from their heart.
They do not live for this life, but for His Kingdom.

They do not worry or become overly anxious,
because they know
the Spirit of Truth stomps out
the spirit of deception, each and every time!

All we have to do is respond,
when God commands,
“Sleeper - it is time to wake up!”

Be on guard -
There are many false prophets among us.
Take what I say
and stand it against the Word of God!

1 John Part 5: Which Savior Do You Choose?

12/18/2021

Picture
Hey you -
I have a question for you.
Which Savior Do You Choose?

We, as Christians, are told to love -
to love one another and to love God.
And at the same time,
we, as Christians, are told to hate -
to hate evil and what stems from it.

So which do you do?
Do you love the sinner
or do you hate the sin that lives within him?
Is everyone good?
Are you?

If it is true that our world is fallen,
and if the human heart
is the most deceitful of all;
if mankind is purely evil
then how in the world do we love at all?

Are we even capable?

How is possible for that which is wrong,
to love one another and do what is good?

How is that which is in opposition to God
even know how to please the Lord?

What should we think when the Apostle John says,
“Do not love this world
nor the things it offers to you,
for when you love the world,
you do not have the love of the Father in you.
For the world offers
only a craving for physical pleasure,
a craving for everything we see,
and pride in our achievements and possessions.”

How can we love when we are born into sin?
How can we win when our world is fallen?

And what in the world is the world anyway?

Is the world a physical thing?
Is it the earth and everyone in it?
Is it the globe - all the water and the land?
Is the world the stars and the moon,
the universe and all it includes?
Is it the cosmos where God is contained?
Is it the earth that houses man?
Is the world an age that is slowly gliding away?
Is it the passing of time until Jesus comes back?
Is it a state of mind or a satanic attack?
What in the world is the world anyway?

I don’t know the answer to these crazy questions
but I do know that I love God.

I do know that this world “is fading away,
along with everything that people crave.”

I do know that I want to please God
and I do believe that one day
I will kneel before Him at the foot of His throne
and my Lord and my Savior will be my Judge.

I do know that I will spend
the rest of eternity delighting in Him.
I do know that Jesus is my King,
regardless of what earthly presidents
and human priests may think.
I do know that Jesus is my Savior,
and that without His life-giving blood
there be no "me."

I do know that I love people
despite the demons that infect them.
I do know that is is okay to put healthy boundaries.
I do know that I love myself despite my sinful heart.

I do know that God loves me
despite my insecurities.
I do know that Jesus IS
the only begotten Son of God,
and it’s only through His self-sacrificing love
that God can love a sinner like "me."

I also know there is a condition
to being a Child of God -
I must choose Him more than I choose myself.
I must lay down the desires of my heart;
pick up my own cross and die to self.
I must show the same kind of love
that God himself has poured out.
I must forgive others
because God has forgive me.
I must keep my eyes focused on Jesus,
the author and perfecter of my faith.
Because of the joy that is waiting for me.

I am sure that I can endure.
and disregard my cross's shame
because of the power of the Holy Spirit.

I can hold on to Jesus and not give up,
because my struggle is not against
the flesh and blood the opposes me,
but against the rulers and authorities of this world
that opposes God.

The definition of the world, in Holy Spirit terms,
is anything that denies Christ
and is blasphemous to God's Holy Spirit.

I am good and I have the power to love
only because the blood of Jesus covers me.

What about you?
Which Savior Do You Choose?
Do you believe in Jesus or do you trust in yourself?

1 John Part 4:  We Obey Because We Love God

12/17/2021

Picture
Yesterday I wrote a poem called
“Is Jesus Discrepant?”
In that poem I posed the question,
Do we choose Jesus
or do we choose God’s Laws?

What I have learned
from digging into the Word,
is this question is not as easy as it sounds.

It's really not about "this" OR "that" -

the answer actually lies in acknowledging both.

Let me explain.

Jesus said,
“Don’t misunderstand why I have come.
I did not come to abolish the law of Moses
or the writings of the prophets.
No, I came
to accomplish their purpose.
I tell you the truth,
until heaven and earth disappear,
not even the smallest detail
of God’s law will disappear
until its purpose is achieved.”

In essence I believe Jesus is saying
exactly what He said!

He came because He is the Lamb of God.

“So if you ignore the least commandment
and teach others to do the same,
you will be called the least
in the Kingdom of Heaven.”

There is a price to be paid
for living as YOU want
following the desires of your flesh.

“But anyone who obeys God’s laws
and teaches them will be called
great in the Kingdom of Heaven.”

The reward in Heaven for living for God
is much to be gained.

Then Jesus said,
“But I warn you - unless your righteousness
is better than the righteousness
of the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees,
you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven!”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:17-20

The truth is
a person can try to follow Gods laws,

but they will always fall short
because people are full of sin
and live in a corrupt world.

That is why Jesus came.
He came to be the final living sacrifice
for all of mankind.

The Perfect Lamb offered His life
to accomplish the purpose of God -
which is to reconcile men

and bring us back into relationship with Him.

You see, the laws of God are His commands,
and He wrote them in stone
so they would not be forgotten,
but man could not uphold them.

The Laws of God
that were given to Moses
can actually be categorized into two sections:
1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your mind; and

2. Love your neighbor as yourself.

“All the Law and the Prophets
hang on these two commandments,
and we can be sure that we know him

if we obey his commandments.”
Matthew 22:40

You see,
We obey not because

we are trying to be prefect, but we obey
because we trust that God is a good father,
and we believe that He knows what is best
for His children.

There is no human being,
born from human or satanic seed,
that is perfect.

No one has been able to completely follow
the commands of God,
not even the most religious or devout person.
There is no pope or priest or king
that has been able to accomplish
what only the Son of God could do.

Jesus was born not merely a man.
He is, in fact, the promised Seed of God.

He was sent by God to be the sacrificial Lamb,
and He will return as the Lion to collect His harvest
and set up His millennial kingdom.
Revelation 20:1-6

"Therefore,
if someone claims to know God,
but doesn’t obey His commandments,
then that person is a liar
and they do not have the truth living inside them.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:3-4

Jesus said to his disciples,
“I am giving you a new commandment:
Love each other.
Just as I have loved you,
you should love each other.
Your love for one another
will prove to the world
that you are my disciples.”

‭‭John‬ ‭13:34-35‬

John imitated Jesus and said to his friends,
“I am not writing a new commandment for you;
rather it is an old one
you have had from the very beginning.
This old commandment - to love one another -
is the same message you have already heard.
Yet it is also new.”

You see,
God’s commands
have always been the same.
That is because God is not progressive.
His Word does not change!

Those who love God

are children of the Light,
and where there is light,
darkness does not exist.

I am writing to you who are God’s children
because your sins
have been forgiven through Jesus;
I am writing to you
who are mature in the faith
because you know Christ,
who existed from the beginning;
I am writing to you
who are young in the faith
because you have won your battle
with the evil one.
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:7-14‬

IT IS ALREADY FINISHED!

1 John Part 3: Is Jesus Discrepant?

12/16/2021

Picture
I recently heard a Muslim evangelist
share with a Christian listener
numerous Bible verses
that appeared to be highly discrepant.
The Muslim man appeared highly intelligent,
and the Christian man appeared to be
totally absorbed by what the Muslim man said.

I could see the doubt
that began to show on the Christian man's face
when the Muslim man brought up
foolish inconsistencies in the Word of God.

It appeared like the Christian man’s faith
began to wane.

If I did not know the Word of the Lord

and had not read His book end to end,
over and and over again;
if I had not been given vision and dreams
that line up perfectly to God’s Holy Spirit;
if I had not experienced the Hand of Jesus
pulling me out of the pit
and lifting me up to place me on the boardwalk;
if I had not seen Jesus with my own eyes
opening the door of the heavenly divide,
then I also may have fallen for that Muslim man’s
total bullshit!

You see, one of the ways

that man deceives himself,
is that he believes he is smarter than God!

The Muslim man appeared so proud

that he was able to twist the Word of God.

Unfortunately, there are many people
who actually believe that God’s Word
is full of lies.

They like to
dig deep into the scripture
so they can pull out the knots
of what scripture says.

But what they do not understand
is that if their hearts are hard
and resistant to God,
then the truth of the Word
will not be opened to them.

Just like the Muslim evangelist,
they may think that God
did not know what He was doing
when He wrote the Holy Bible.

They may think the Bible was written

by foolish men who wrote down the words
all by themselves.

They may think that certain verses
are in opposition,
but it’s only because

they have not been given
spiritual eyes to see what the Word says.

Most of God’s Word

is read between the lines,
and the Holy Spirit serves as our guide.

Take for instance Matthew Chapter 5
and compare it to 2 John.
Some would say the laws were worthless,
because Jesus himself came to fulfill it.

Others would say
God’s laws were good because they help us to live

according to His plan.

So the question is - Is Jesus discrepant?
Is Jesus tripping over His own Word?
Are the prophets making most of it up?

Do we choose Jesus or the Law?

Jesus said,

“Do not think that I have come
to abolish the Law or the Prophets;
I have not come to abolish them
but to fulfill them.
For truly, I say to you,
until heaven and earth pass away,
not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law
until all is accomplished.
Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least
of these commandments
and teaches others to do the same
will be called least in the kingdom of heaven,
but whoever does them and teaches them
will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I tell you, unless your righteousness
exceeds that of the scribes
and Pharisees, you will never
enter the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:17-20

If that is true,

then why does John say,
“My dear children, I am writing this to you
so that you will not sin.
But if anyone does sin,
we have an advocate
who pleads our case before the Father.
He is Jesus Christ,
the one who is truly righteous.
He himself is the sacrifice
that atones for our sins
and not only our sins
but the sins of all the world.”

2 John 1-3

Well, to know the answer one has to read on.
There is so much clarity in what comes next.

John also says,

“And we can be sure that we know him
if we obey his commandments.
If someone claims, “I know God,”
but does not obey God’s commandments,
that person is a liar
and is not living in the truth.
But those who obey God’s word
truly show how completely they love him.
That is how we know we are living in him.
Those who say they live in God
should live their lives as Jesus did.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:1-6
‬

Jesus fulfilled every one
of God’s commandments
AND He believed every prophet
for what they said.

Jesus loved man despite their sin,

so much so that He came to die for them.

Jesus ate with sinners
and submitted to kings;
He showed compassion
for those possessed by demons.
Jesus did not hide away in caves.
Jesus settled storms and walked on the waves.

Jesus loved Mary Magdalene,

and the Gentile woman who came to the well.
Jesus took the stones from the attackers hands,
not with force or power, but through His words
and the conviction that comes from the Holy Spirit.

Jesus overturned tables

when money was being exchanged
in His Father’s House.
Jesus went in and Jesus went out.

Jesus taught God’s Word

to anyone who would listen.
Jesus healed lepers,
conversed with tax collectors,
and made men who fished
fishermen of humans.

Jesus died to self

so that others could live.

My friends -

The Word of God
is the sword of His Spirit!

“The Word of God is alive and powerful.
It is sharper than the sharpest
two-edged sword,
cutting between soul and spirit,
between joint and marrow.
It exposes our innermost thoughts
and desires. Nothing in all creation
is hidden from God.
Everything is naked
and exposed before his eyes,
and he is the one
to whom we are accountable.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:12-13‬

Brethren -

Do not let anyone shake you!
There are millions of false prophets
walking
among us!
It’s not just other religions that do this.
There are so many people
with hard hearts like the Muslim evangelist.

There is so much twisted truth
that has even infected the “church!”

If anyone tells you that a priest is needed,
because they are good and you are not -
that they alone can stand between you and God,
then they are a liar,
and fit into the category of a false prophet!

Do not believe them!

There is no such thing
as worshipping a man.
There is no such thing as humans worshipping angels.

For goodness sake - Read Hebrews;

but first prepare your heart to hear from God.

Come to His altar and lay your life down.

Repent for the things that you have done wrong,
and choose for yourself who you want to serve.

JESUS
IS NOT DISCREPANT!
JESUS IS THE REASON YOU STILL HAVE BREATH!

1 John Part 2: Rise and Shine!

12/16/2021

Brothers and Sisters in Christ -
Did you not hear,
“GOD IS LIGHT!”

If we are a true reflection of Him,
then we naturally shine!
The time is NOW -
we must rise and shine!

There is no hiding it.
In Him, nothing Is dim!
In Him, there is no darkness at all!”

It’s never been about God's children
adhering to the world.
It’s about us being separated from sin!

You see,
“In the beginning the Spirit of God
hovered in the darkness,
over the surface
of deep and dark waters.
Then God spoke and said,
“Let there be light,”
and there was light.

God manifested His goodness into the night.
With His voice, He created the morning star.
Father, Son and Spirt - all in One.

"In the beginning
the Word already existed.
The Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He existed in the beginning with God.
God created everything through him,
and nothing was created
except through him.
The Word gave life
to everything that was created,
and his life brought light to everyone.
The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it.”

‭‭John‬ ‭1:1-5
‬
“Imitate God in everything you do,
because you are his dear children.
Live a life filled with love,
following the example of Christ.
He loved us and offered himself
as a sacrifice for us,
a pleasing aroma to God.
Let there be no sexual immorality,
impurity, or greed among you.
Such sins have no place among God’s people.
Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes -
these are not for you.
Instead, let there be thankfulness to God.
You can be sure that no immoral, impure,
or greedy person
will inherit the Kingdom of Christ
and of God.
For a greedy person is an idolater,
worshiping the things of this world.
Don’t be fooled
by those who try to excuse these sins,
for the anger of God will fall on all
who disobey him.
Don’t participate in the things
these people do.
For once you were full of darkness,
but now you have light from the Lord.
So live as people of light!
For this light within you
produces only what is good & right & true.
Carefully determine what pleases the Lord.
Take no part in the worthless deeds
of evil and darkness; instead, expose them.
It is shameful
even to talk about the things
that ungodly people do in secret.
But their evil intentions will be exposed
when the light shines on them,
for the light makes everything visible.

This is why it is said,
“Awake, O sleeper,
rise up from the dead,
and Christ will give you light”
too.
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:1-14‬

God is light, and God is good!

“God made Christ, who never knew sin,
to be the offering for our sin,
so that we could be
made right with God through Christ.”

2 Corinthians 5:21

If we say that we have no sin,
then we deceive ourselves,
and we have not truth.

Not one of us good.
Every person born into this world
is full of sin,
even when we think we are good -
we are not!

Brothers and sisters,
It is so important to remember
“We are all infected - impure with sin.
Even when we display
our righteous deeds,
they are nothing but filthy rags
to our Creator and King!
Like autumn leaves,
we wither and fall,
and our sins sweep us away
like the wind.”
Without Christ, we are only chaff!
Without His blood covering,
we will be burned!
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭64:6‬

Brothers and sisters,
God’s beloved ones -
Do you think there ever existed
a human being that is purely good?
A human being void of sin?
There is no such thing!

And that is what
the Law of Moses was to prove!
The Law was our tutor
to bring us to Christ,
that we might be justified by our faith.
Galatians 3:24

God himself became human form
to bring his light into the world.
Jesus is the light of the world.
Whoever follows him
does not walk in darkness,
but has the light of life.
John 8:12

“God has delivered us
from the domain of darkness
and transferred us to
the kingdom of his beloved Son.”

Colossians 1:13

Friends,
Without God’s blood,
we would not be saved.
Without Jesus,
there is nothing good in us at all!
We would be walking mirrors
of the dark,
bent and demented and forever stiff-necked.

God is light, and God is good!

He knows us better
than we know ourselves.
If we say that we have
fellowship with Him,
and walk in darkness,
then we are lying to ourselves
and do not practice the truth.

If we say that we have not sinned,
we make Him a liar,
and His word is not in us.
We are just fakes.
But if we walk in the light
as He is in the light,
we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of His Son,
Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.

The blood of Christ
covers our blemishes and spots.
The blood of Christ is the only gift
we have ever needed.
He is the only blood sacrifice
that makes us right.

When we confess our sins,
He is faithful and just
to forgive us our sins
and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.
With the Lord’s authority
I say this to you -
Live no longer as non-believers do,
for they are hopelessly confused.
Live as though you know the truth!

Brothers and sisters in Christ,
It is time to throw off
your old sinful nature
and your former way of life,
which is corrupted by lust and deception.
Instead, let the Spirit renew
your thoughts and attitudes.
Put on your new nature,
created to be like God -
truly righteous and holy.

So stop telling lies.
Let us tell our neighbors the truth,
for we are all parts of the same body.
Don’t sin by letting anger control you -
for anger gives a foothold to the devil.
If you are a thief, quit stealing.
Instead, use your hands for good hard work,
and then give generously to others in need.
Don’t use foul or abusive language.
Let everything you say
be good and helpful,
so that your words will be
an encouragement to others.
And do not bring sorrow
to God’s Holy Spirit
by the way you live.

Remember,
he has identified you as his own,
guaranteeing that you will be saved
on the day of redemption.
Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger,
harsh words, and slander,
as well as all types of evil behavior.
Instead, be kind to each other,
tenderhearted, forgiving one another,
just as God through Christ
has forgiven you.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:17-32‬

Bright and morning stars -
It is time to RISE and SHINE!

1 John Part 1: I am a Grape, Constantly Crushed

12/15/2021

Picture
I can not believe it!
Yesterday morning
I finished my last poem
from the Book of Jude.

In that poem I wrote,
“The Holy Spirit has illuminated the Word
in such a way that I have also
touched, tasted and heard.”

This morning while praying to God,
and asking Him what to write on,
He brought to mind the letter of 1 John.

It does not surprise me
because in the New Year of 2022
I am starting a deep study
on the Revelation of Jesus
according to John.
I struggled a bit and said,
“Lord are you sure?
Should I be reading John’s gospel
instead of 1 John?”

Everything in me said
“No. Not right now.”
That is how I heard.
So - with confirmation,
I opened my Book,
and eagerly approached
1 John Chapter 1.

And this is when I was stunned.

It should not surprise me
because that is what God does.
He always keeps us in awe!

The Title that is given
to 1 John Chapter 1 is
“What Was Heard, Seen and Touched.”
How could it be the same words
that I just wrote the days before?

I dropped my jaw!
I am telling you -
Nothing in life is better than this!

The more I dig in,
and the more that I pray,
the more that I listen -
the more of the Gift of the Holy Spirit!
God is so good!
“We can make our plans,
but the LORD determines our steps.”
Proverbs 16:9

I love when I ask Him
what He wants me to minister on next,
and He gives me the answer
to my request!
I know - I should not doubt!
I should be used to it by now, but I am not!
When the Holy Spirit reveals
I’m always perplexed!
I am always left in awe!

How in the world
do I matter that much?
How in the world
does the Creator of the Universe
love a sinner like me
who constantly lets Him down?

Then I believe.
My faith is strong!
It truly is my spiritual gift!
I believe in what God’s Word says,
“I love those who love me,
and those who seek me early shall find me.”

Proverbs 8:17

I stand on the Word of God -
even when I feel like a fool myself!
Jesus said to his disciples,
“Ask, and it will be given to you;
seek, and you will find;
knock, and the door will be opened
to you (his disciples- his friends).
For everyone who asks receives;
he who seeks finds;
and to him who knocks,
the door will be opened;
If a son asks for bread
from any father among you,
will he give him a stone;
If you then, being evil,
know how to give good gifts
to your children, how much more
will your heavenly Father
give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭11:9-11,13‬ ‭

You see, a true ministry -
one that serves the Lord -
is fully dependent on Father God.
It can not come from ourselves.

We are not good, but He is!
I have come to the realization
that my ministry
is NOT in building a building,
or making a statue of gold -
my ministry is simple -
it’s expressing God’s heart -
which means crushing mine.

I am a grape
that is constantly crushed.
Every time I try
to build a statue of gold,
the Lord puts His foot down
and makes me die to self!
And it always hurts!

He makes me swallow my pride
and give up the desires
of my selfish heart.
Sometimes I can be like the Israelites.
Freed from bondage, yet still complaining.
It’s the slave mentality, I surely know it!

Over 400 years in Egypt,
being told over and over again
that they were worthless!
How could they ever believe
that they were worthy?
How could they ever believe
what God promised?

They were stuck in the slave mentality.
The term is called Learned helplessness.
Escaping was possible,
but they did not believe it was so.
But just like them, the chosen and called,
God continues to work on me.
His promise is more than
my deceitful belief.

Crushed In Spirit,
Dying to Self,
Letting go and giving it to God -
This is how I learn.
He gives me rope to hang on.
Being last instead of first - this is devout.
This is when the gift
of the Holy Spirit is poured out.

I know I am not the only one
because grapes are bunched -
they do not grow alone.

A puffed up grape will only explode
when he is acting all on his own.
That is not good!

The fruit of the Spirit is love,
joy, peace, longsuffering,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, self-control.
Against such there is no law.
And those who are Christ’s
have crucified the flesh
with its passions and desires.
If we live in the Spirit,
let us also walk in the Spirit.
Let us not become conceited,
provoking one another,
envying one another.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:22-26‬

Brethren,
Let us show love.
I pour out to you the words of John,
“That which was from the beginning,
which we have heard,
which we have seen with our eyes,
which we have looked upon,
and our hands have handled,
concerning the Word of life -
the life was manifested,
and we have seen, and bear witness,
and declare to you that eternal life
which was with the Father
and was manifested to us -
that which we have seen
and heard we declare to you,
that you also may have
fellowship with us;
and truly our fellowship
is with the Father
and with His Son Jesus Christ.
And these things we write to you
that your joy may be full.”

‭‭I John‬ ‭1:1-4‬

Jesus is always the reason,
Despite the season.
