Today, I write the shortest
poetic sermon I’ve ever done. It comes from Genesis Chapter 2, verse 1. The scripture says, “Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.” Genesis 2:1 I want to bring your attention back to something I said, back in the poetic sermon, Genesis One Part 1. I had noticed that God created both - the earth and the heavens. But Genesis tells the story of the earth's creation, not the heavenly realm. Why the storyteller/writer/historian focused on the earth, instead of the heavens - well that is something I just do not know. I wonder why more is not said about the heavenly realms? My desire, as I walk again through the scripture, is to gain spiritual wisdom about the Kingdom of God, and the heavenly realm. And I have confident hope that the Holy Spirit will be my guide.
