Before looking at the bowls of wrath,
I am being nudged by the Holy Spirit to go back and look at the rapture. I used to believe that the rapture of the church happened at the very beginning of the Great Tribulation, but when I dove into the Book of Revelation, and began writing these poetic sermons, God changed my mind. Now I believe that the two lamp stands that stand before God and man are the two witnesses described in Revelation 11. I believe that the 2 witnesses are the followers of Christ who represent the two churches that stand without blemish, the Smyrna and Philadelphia churches. I believe that they are the 2 lampstands that are a true reflection of Christ. I believe that these believers in Christ represent the inner court, the people who belong to the Temple of God. And I believe that for 42 months the other 5 lamp stands will be turned over to Satan, the ruler of the nations. And I believe that during this time, these two witnesses will be clothed in burlap to repent and intercede for all people. And I believe that during this time, these two witnesses will prophesy. They will be so indwelled by the Holy Spirit that they will have the power to shut the sky and not make rain fall. And I believe that during these 42 months, they will speak the truth and will keep God’s Word alive! I believe in what the Word says, “These two prophets are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord and man.” And I believe that when they complete their testimony, Satan will declare war against them, and he will conquer and kill them. And I believe that their bodies will lie dead, in the main street of Jerusalem, the city that is figuratively called “Sodom” and “Egypt,” the city where the Lord was crucified. This city is the place that is void of Christ, void of God’s Holy Spirit. Scripture says that for three and a half days, all peoples, tribes, languages, and nations will stare at their bodies. No one will be allowed to bury them. The nations will hate them. All the people who belong to this world will gloat over them and give presents to each other to celebrate the death of the two prophets who had tormented them. Let’s face it - Most “Christians” do not want to hear the Voice of God, because they do not desire to suffer out of love. They do not want to forgive. and they do not want to be obedient to God. The majority of the five lamp stands will walk away, but God always keep a remnant. There will be some who turn from their ways, and return to the Lord. Now that I have dove into the Book of Revelation, I believe that the rapture takes place right before the 7th Trumpet. After the two witnesses, people who represent the two lamp stands, lay dead for three and a half days, God will breathe life back into them, and they will be resurrected. At this time, a loud voice will call out to them from heaven. The voice will say, “Come up here!” And I believe, this is when the rapture of God’s people will happen. Until I am convinced that this interpretation is wrong, I am going to hold on to this view of the rapture. The Holy Spirit has always been my teacher. But I am not done. I am still reading, I am still writing, I am still praying, and I am still learning. I could read something or be told something by the Holy Spirit that could change everything. But for now, this is where I am.
