It has taken me several months
to finally get to the New Jerusalem. I’ve walked down hills, through valleys and streams, and I’ve walked up mountains to great landscape views. I’ve seen. I’ve heard and I’ve dreamed. I saw God give Jesus great news! I saw Jesus send an angel to John, and I saw the Word give the Spirit of Revelation. I heard - “God blesses the one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and he blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the time is near.” Revelation 1:3 I have not only read but my eyes have seen the glorious mysteries of God. I saw the heart of God's pure Church, the body of Christ will chooses to suffer and die. I saw the mind of Christ, and know that one day, at God’s appointed time, we will all resurrect and stand before God - some will be thrown in the fire, and some will live again. I saw the worship that takes place in Heaven, and I watched the Lamb of God open the Book of Life that sits in the right hand of God. I saw the curse that God placed on the earth, and I watched death being reversed. I saw all who are covered in God's blood, being atoned for the wrong that was done. I saw the heart of God. I watched Babylon fall, and I watched the father of all lies be thrown into hell. I saw the promises of God being sown, and I saw the fruit of the Holy Spirit grow, And now, as of today, after many months of devouring this book, I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem. I saw a new heaven and a new earth, coming down from God out of heaven. I saw a bride beautifully dressed for her husband, and I heard a loud shout from the throne, “God’s home is now among his people!” I saw our Creator wipe every tear from our eyes, and I heard another promise from Him. He said, “there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” Revelation 21:1-4.
