To the Children of God -
Are you ready to hear a new song? I’ll share the lyrics while you hum along. When the Lamb of God took the scroll from the right hand of God the 4 living creatures and 24 elders prostrated themselves on the ground. Until the Lamb there was no one worthy to carry out God's plan. They had bowls. Each of the elders and the four creatures had a golden bowl in their hands. They bowls hold the prayers of God's children. Those who have been sanctified and made holy through the blood of the Lamb. The beasts and elders also held harps. Musical instruments that make the most angelic sounds. Together, the 4 living creatures and the Council of God, along with the prayer warriors have died to self, strummed out a brand new song, “Worthy Worthy Worthy is the blood of the Lamb.” They sang, “Worthy are You to take the scroll. Worthy are You to open its seals. Because You were slain, and by Your blood You purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign upon the earth.” Revelation 5:9 John saw thousands upon thousands of angels encircling the throne. John heard the concert of the magnificent orchestra of God. Together, the beasts and the elders, and the angels of the Lord shouted, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain.” Revelation 5:12 Can you imagine breathing in the sights and sounds and smells that filled the throne room of God? It had to be intoxicating. John saw and heard and smelled every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb of God be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever. Amen.” I can’t imagine John ever wanting to leave. This is the worship of my heart - every morning when I come before God. My prayer is that others, in reading these poems, will want to know Jesus for themselves. Christianity is NOT a religion - it is the most intimate relationship we can have with God.
