Hey you, will you give me your ear?
I think I have something that you may want to hear. About 2000 years ago, the Angel of the Lord came to Jesus’s servant named John while he was exiled on Patmos, one of the Dodecanese islands located on the southeastern side of Greece. John was exiled for sharing the Good News about Jesus Christ. I guess he thought Jesus’s life and death and resurrection and ascension into Heaven was more important than being afraid of sharing his “religious beliefs.” Jesus rewarded his best friend, for being so bold here on this earth, by giving him knowledge of what’s come to the church and the rest of mankind at the end of this age. You see, God revealed to Jesus the Revelation of His Word to show His servants the things which must shortly take place. Then Jesus sent and signified what He had heard by His angel to His servant John. Then John bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. Revelation 1:1-2 The scripture says, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says.” The scripture also says, “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” Revelation 1:3 I feel totally blessed! I live in a country and at a time when I still have access to the written Word of God! I am able to read the Book of Revelation, and I carry the Holy Spirit who makes the Word known to me. I am so blessed! My ears are perked up! This book is so important that I have to read it - It's the Revelation from God that was given to Jesus! When Jesus spoke the 7 churches through His servant John, he offered a piece of himself, a different greeting, if you will, to identify himself, and then he ended each letter with the same words, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” After diving in to Revelation 1-3, and spending time with the Lord to write these poems, I clearly hear what the message is. Each person who accepts the free gift of God’s Passover Lamb before their exodus out of this world receives God’s spiritual blood to put over their hearts, and the angel of death will pass right over them. To prepare their hearts for this freedom experience, a person must be willing to pick up their cross and die to self. They shall put away the flesh, and roast it with fire; they shall eat it unleavened bread and pair it with bitter herbs. Every part of their life must be roasted with fire, both its head and its legs along with its entrails. When the body is burned, and ready for devour, Jesus will for His bride. He will look for the members who have their garment belted around their waist, sandals on their feet, and a staff in their hand; He will look for those in a hurry, those who are ready to receive the Passover Lamb. God will go through the world and fatally strike every person that does not belong h to Him. Against all the gods of the world, God will execute His judgments. The blood of Jesus is a sign to live, and when God sees the blood, He will pass over them - and death will not come upon His children. The Bible is clear that all people are God’s creation and that God loves the entire world, but the scripture is clear that only those who digest the Passover Lamb are born again by the His Spirit, and become children of God. Jews and Gentiles alike become brothers and sisters with Christ. Jews and Gentiles alike become heirs to God’s throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Body of Christ. If you lack love, but you overcome, then Jesus will allow you to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God. Revelation 2:7 Do not fear suffering. The devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation. Be faithful until death, and Jesus will give you the crown of life. Revelation 2:10 He who overcomes and holds on shall not be hurt by the second death which comes to all. To him who overcomes Jesus gives some of the hidden manna to eat. And He gives them a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it. Revelation 2:17 For all those who endure false doctrine, but stay true to the Word of God, Jesus will give power over the nations. Revelation 2:24-27 And he who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and will not be blotted out from the Book of Life; but Jesus will confess his name before His Father and before His angels. Revelation 3:5-6 For those who keep His command to persevere with patient endurance, Jesus will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, Jesus is coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. To each person who overcomes, Jesus will make them a pillar in the temple of God, and he shall go out no more. Jesus will write on them the name of His God and the name of the city of His God, the New Jerusalem, which will come down out of heaven. And each person will have on them, Jesus’s new name - (which I don’t know what that is yet). Revelation 3:10-12 “Behold, Jesus is standing at the door and knocks. If anyone hears His voice and opens the door, Jesus will come in to him and dine with him. To him who overcomes Jesus will grant to sit with Him on His throne, as He has also overcame and sat down with His Father on the Throne of God. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit of God says to His Church.
