“Kiss me and kiss me again.”
These were the very first words that King Solomon penned when expressing his heart to the God that he loved. “For your love is sweeter than wine,” poured from the mouth of a servant king who had everything a man could ever need. “You are so handsome, my love, pleasing beyond words!” Whispered by a king to the God of this world. “Fragrant cedar branches are the beams of our house,” gold-covered ornaments made affectionately for a spouse. "Your lips drip nectar, my bride; honey and milk are under your tongue"; flowed from the mouth a man who worshiped his God through proverb and song. “I delight to sit in his shade, and his fruit is sweet to my taste.” Said the wise king to the glorious God of grace. “Let me see your face." "Let me hear your voice.” Oh, how Solomon yearned for God's divine embrace. These are some lyrics of Solomon’s song, written by a king who was desperately in love.
