After the four horsemen
comes massive martyrdom and terror across the entire globe. Jesus forewarned of the end times, the days that come right before the Day of the Lord. He said, “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. Then they will deliver you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray and hate one another, and many false prophets will arise and mislead many. Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved. And THIS gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:6-14 Every nation across the globe will hold haters of Christ. Every tribe and tongue will profane His great name! Organizations will rise up to advocated to take the Most High God out of government; the nations will unite to accomplish God’s purpose. Yes. It is true! God has established a set time when He will allow utter darkness to separate the light. While hearts grow cold and become less flexible to God’s Word, the hearts of God’s children get stronger and grow brighter to reflect God’s Word. The highway to Heaven becomes heavily illuminated. And while this is happening, according to John in the Book of Revelation, the souls of God’s children who have been a true witness, who are located under God’s altar, will cry out in a loud voice, “How long, O Lord, the One who is holy and true, will it be until You avenge our blood and judge those who dwell upon the earth?” As they cry out, they are given a white robe and told to rest a little while, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers, are martyred. Revelation 6:9-11 That is what happens when Jesus tears off the fifth seal, the 5th seal of 7 seals located on the official scroll written by God himself. The cry of the martyred is the center of worship. This is the heart of every true believer who truly loves God. I will wait until tomorrow to write about the 6th seal; the seal that comes right before the 7 trumpets that officially announce the Day of the Lord. Tomorrow we will see that the 6th seal brings about great terror. This is what happens when God delivers supernatural miracles. Can you imagine living in a time when God brings about mesmerizing miracles? Miracles like the 7 Plagues, and the parting of the Red Sea and the swallowing up of an oppressive army! Miracles like the opening of the earth who swallowed up Korah and those who disobeyed God! Miracles like fire coming down on Sodom and Gommorrah, an entire people who lived outside the will of God. It would be so terrifying to see the Hand of God actually writing on the wall, unless of course we knew who the writing was coming from! If I saw the scroll unfolding before my eyes, I'm pretty sure I would fall and be totally in awe. Whether it happens in my lifetime or not, I will continue to believe in the promised Word of God. May these poems that I will continue to write light up the path that leads every heart to the center of worship - the altar of God.
