This is an interesting poem
because I was able to slow down. I invite you to read on. Yesterday I learned after Jesus tears the 6th seal, astronomical changes will cause the earth to lose it's balance. The moon will turn red, the sun will turn black and the winds will stop. At this time, an angel of God will come to the earth and seal the foreheads of God’s chosen servants. The servants of God listed in this passage are not pastors or priests, or even “Christians” as we seem to think - The chosen servants of God are the sons of Jacob - set aside for such a time as this. The number of God's servants who become sealed by the Holy Spirit, at the end of this age, is very specific. 144,000 people from the bloodline of Israel will be sealed on their foreheads, but the 12 tribes listed in Revelation 7 seems to be missing a person! The scripture says there will be 12,000 from Judah 12,000 from Reuben 12,000, from Gad 12,000, from Asher 12,000, from Naphtali 12,000, from Manasseh 12,000, from Simeon 12,000, from Levi 12,000, from Issachar 12,000, from Zebulun 12,000, from Joseph 12,000 from Benjamin Revelation 7:4-8 Now I know Joseph is the father of Manasseh and Ephraim. So, I would think the passage would say 12,000 from Joseph, not 12,000 from Manasseh and 12,000 Joseph. I wonder why that is how Jesus chose to say it? It appears Joseph is being listed instead of Ephraim, I guess it's because Ephraim is the son who received the blessing of Jacob, instead of Manasseh. But this would mean that Joseph will receive a double portion for his shame, just as promised by God. 24,000 servants of God who are sealed by God's Spirit for the end times will come from the blood line of Joseph. And where is the tribe of Dan? Why is Dan is not included? This is an area that I am not strong. I do not know much about the tribe of Dan except they are the ones attached to Micah and the false priest in the 18th Chapter of Judges. From doing a quick search and minimal research, it appears the tribe of Dan went out on their own and never came back - they were totally wiped out. The website, Got Questions, says that the once second-most populous tribe of Dan, “declined in numbers and in influence until the time of Ezra." The people of Dan fell into gross idolatry. It appears the once children of Jacob who followed his God carved out gods of their own, and became children of Satan. Dan also became the center of idol worship when the Northern Kingdom broke off from Judah. Right before Jacob (Israel) died, he blessed his children and this is what he said to Dan, “Dan shall judge his people As one of the tribes of Israel. Dan shall be a serpent by the way, A viper by the path, That bites the horse’s heels So that its rider shall fall backward.” Genesis 49:16-19 I wonder, how is Dan to judge God’s people? How is Dan going to serve God as a viper by God’s path? And interestingly, how will Dan bite the heel of the horse that makes the rider fall backwards? What horse and rider do you think Jacob was talking about?
