"Why are you standing around looking at one another?" "Go down and buy enough grain to keep us alive. Otherwise we will die!" Genesis 42:1-2

This is such a father statement, isn't it? I can picture my husband looking at my three boys and saying the same thing when something important needs to get done. In laymen's terms, "Stop being a bunch of dumb-asses and get to work!"

I believe our heavenly father is shouting out the same thing! "You have become a complacent nation. You are in a spiritual famine and your heart has grown barren. There is no living water or heavenly manna to sustain you in the land of barrenness. Now listen to Me, and GO where I have told you to go." Voice of the Lord

"I have heard there is grain in Egypt." Genesis 42:1

"If you will listen, I will tell you where to go to find nourishment. I have prepared a place that has more than enough food and water to sustain you. But you must bring "ALL of your brothers" (Gen 42:3) Do not hold onto fear for no harm will come to you if you give Me ALL of your heart and ALL of your possession. I will not only give you a little food. I am preparing a feast to celebrate our reunion." Voice of the Lord
